Seven (7) Feasts (Appointed Times) of YAOHU UL

[ACKNOWLEDGEMENT : Many thanks to YAOHUSHUA.ORG to make this possible.]

LEVITICUS 23

These are the set feasts of YAOHU UL, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.

PASSOVER (POSQAYAO)

Leviticus 23:4 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is YAOHU UL's Passover.

Exodus 12:1-27 YAOHU UL spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, "This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, 'On the tenth day of this month, they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household; and if the household is too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls; according to what everyone can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats: and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening. They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it. They shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs. Don't eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts. You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire. This is how you shall eat it: with your belt on your waist, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is YAOHU UL's Passover. For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal. Against all the lo-ulhim of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am YAOHU UL. The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. This day shall be to you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to YAOHU UL: throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever. "'Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. In the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you. You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty first day of the month at evening. There shall be no yeast found in your houses for seven days, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a foreigner, or one who is born in the land. You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.'" Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them,"Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover. You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. For YAOHU UL will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two doorposts, YAOHU UL will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you. You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever. It shall happen when you have come to the land which YAOHU UL will give you, according as he has promised, that you shall keep this service. It will happen, when your children ask you, 'What do you mean by this service?' that you shall say, 'It is the sacrifice of YAOHU UL's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.'" The people bowed their heads and worshiped.

FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD (KHAG LEKHEM MAUTZYAO)

Leviticus 23:5-8 On the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to YAOHU UL. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. In the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work. But you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.

FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS (HABIKKURIM)

Leviticus 23:9-14 YAOHU UL spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its the harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest and he shall wave the sheaf before YAOHU UL, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt offering to YAOHU UL. 1he meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your ULhim. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

FEAST OF HARVESTS (PENTECOST) (SHAVUOS)

Leviticus 23:15-22 You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed: even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to YAOHU UL. You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to YAOHU UL. You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to YAOHU UL, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to YAOHU UL. You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before YAOHU UL, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to YAOHU UL for the priest. You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. "'When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap into the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am YAOHU UL your ULhim.

FEAST OF (BLOWING OF) TRUMPETS (YOM TERUAH)

Leviticus 23:23-25 YAOHU UL spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL.'"

DAY OF ATONEMENT (YOM KIPPUR)

Leviticus 23:26-32 However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL. You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before YAOHU UL your ULhim. For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people. Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Sabbath."

FEAST OF TABERNACLES (BOOTHS) (SUCCOUS)

Leviticus 23:33-43 YAOHU UL spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the children of Israel, and say, 'On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tents for seven days to YAOHU UL. On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work. Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work. "'These are the appointed feasts of YAOHU UL, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to YAOHU UL, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day; besides the Sabbaths of YAOHU UL, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to YAOHU UL. "'So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of YAOHU UL seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest. You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before YAOHU UL your ULhim seven days. You shall keep it a feast to YAOHU UL seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native born in Israel shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am YAOHU UL your ULhim.'"

Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of YAOHU UL.
